or

  1. Click Start type system in the Search box, and then click system in the Program list.
  2. The operating system appears as follows:
    • For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears for the System type under System.

What are native drivers?

Native drivers are a set of software files that come with the Microsoft operating system. These allow the operating system to recognize and control the functionality of a device. Windows Vista includes native operating system support for some Creative products while others will require you to acquire drivers from Creative.

As drivers may not be available for some or all of your hardware, one option to retain the functionality of such hardware is to keep your existing Windows version and install Windows Vista in a dual boot configuration.

Note: The MP3 products ZEN Micro, ZEN Sleek, ZEN Xtra and ZEN Touch require the latest firmware to ensure Native Support in Window Vista.
